Homeware gifts for interior lovers
Part of my job involves spending time sourcing products for clients online, meaning I get to spend a lot of time virtual window shopping. With Christmas coming up, here’s some of the top gift picks I've seen, for the interiors lover in your life (… or let’s be honest, for you!)
Vases & plant pots
This is a pretty fail-safe gift for anyone who likes to receive flowers (I mean, who doesn’t), or for plant lovers. Bonus points if you also give them a plant or flowers to put in their new vessel.
Table linen & tea towels
Who wouldn’t want a crab tea towel in their life? A quirky tea towel is a good choice of gift - or if you know what colour scheme they have in their kitchen and dining room, some place mats that complement it is a good idea.
Cushions & throws
If your tactic is to “heat the person, not the home”, a really big cosy throw is a good choice of gift that can be used throughout the Autumn and winter. Decorative cushions that match the recipients decor too, don’t forget the cushion inner too.
Dishes & bowls
Trinket dishes are useful things for people who wear jewellery or watches, or larger decorative bowls are handy for putting near the front door and chucking keys into.
Cake stands
Maybe best reserved for keen bakers (I for example would have absolutely no use for one of these).
Glassware
If your recipient (or you…) enjoys a G&T then some fancy round glasses are a good choice, and for those who like to host, a nice water jug is another option.
Ornaments
Anyone who loves a shelf faff will appreciate new ornaments - my advice would be not to go too big and to consider the sort of decor they already have.
Candles & smellies
If all else fails, candles and smellies are a failsafe gift option.
