Homeware gifts: my favourite small & independent shops

If you’re wanting to support some small and independent businesses this year, Christmas is the perfect time to do so. I’ve rounded up some of my favourite small and independent UK homeware shops for you.

Ajouter

If you like colour and quirkiness, then you’ll love Ajouter. I especially love their candle selection (like these squiggly candles below). Also check out their lighting section for some gorgeous little table lamps.

Meggy & Me

Meggy & Me is an online cushion boutique with many gorgeous boho cushions to choose from. Check out the mudcloth cushions which are a favourite of mine. Also have a look at the Cushion Combo’s for some suggestions of cushion pairings.

The Little House Shop

This family owned business has a lovely collection of curated homeware. I particularly love the gorgeous striped throws and quilt.

Graham & Green

This independent family run business is for you if you like unusual and quirky interior pieces. There’s loads of different categories but the candle holders are pretty unique. I’m also loving the famous face door stops and the golden lobster.

Orchard Candle Co

My friend Clare introduced me to Orchard Candle Co when she gave me one of their reed diffusers for my birthday. The Peony Blush scent in particular is delicious.

Josie’s Interiors

Josie’s Interiors is a small interiors concept store, offering all sorts of unique homeware. Check out the mirrors and picture frames with legs for something a bit different, and there’s a great range of stoneware pots and vases.

Blowy In The Wind

And finally, Blowy In The Wind is a lovely little shop run by Elizabeth, who takes wildflowers from her incredible garden and uses them to create prints, photographs and stationary.

Happy shopping!
