10 Interior colour combinations that made me go “ooh”

Always on the prowl for colour inspiration, I’ve been curating a Pinterest board of colour combinations, which I add to every time I see a scheme which catches my eye. After a flurry of pinning this week, I thought why not compile a list. With no further ado: colour combinations that made me go “ooh”…

Greige, orangy-red and powder blue

Starting off with this unexpected colour pop of red and blue against the greige walls.

Sky blue, sunshine yellow and deep red

If this combination doesn’t make you happy then I don’t know what will.

Grey, navy and mustard

Navy and mustard can be overdone, but I really love how it’s been paired with beige and greys in this scheme.

Sage green, red, and lemon yellow

I love a sage green wall, its kept fun and lively here with pops of red and yellow.

Forest green, terracotta and gold

Probably my favourite colour, forest green looks great here with terracotta, sage and gold.

Green-blue, off-white and pastel pink

Such a calming colour on the walls is made even more gorgeous with pastel pink accents.

Plaster pink, periwinkle and rose pink

A bit of colour clashing here with the walls and throw, but I think it works.

Olive green, dark navy and greige

I love a dark scheme and this earthy olive, navy and greige is fabulous, especially with that injection of mustard from the pillows.

Mushroom, grey-blue, and greige

This sort of plastery-mushroom colour looks great with the equally muted blue throw and grey curtains.

Mid-blue, olive and gold

Actually maybe olive is my favourite colour… here it looks great against that moody mid-blue with mustard accents.
